This module encounters the multi-faceted nature of poverty in both, developing and industrialised countries
Practical exercise
Poverty and wealth are, as already discussed, very subjective phenomena. As a pair of opposites, they are by no means mutually exclusive and often exist very close to each other.
- Take a camera, go out and go in search of the contrast between rich and poor in your area.
Note
Try to avoid taking pictures with people in them and if this is unavoidable, always ask before photographing people.
