Gender equality is relevant in all areas of social life – in employment, in education, in science, in sport, arts, as well as in private life. We are going to introduce some of the key areas which are the subject of Gender policies at the national and international level.

Gender equality in the labour market

Paid work was the aim of the feminist movement since its start. Access to employment and personal income is necessary for real enjoyment of human rights and freedoms. Although in developed countries, women's access to paid work is a sure thing, there are still a lot of manifestations of Gender inequality.
