This topic speaks about human rights, what it is, how human rights are related to us and how to protect them

Practical task

Find one article dealing with any human rights issue in the relevant media and analyse it.

  1. Find what human right it is dealing with
  2. classify it into one of the human rights generations
  3. briefly (2-3 sentences) explain how the values and principles are violated
  4. Then identify the instrument which is dealing with this issue (eg. if it was dealing with kids rights, it would be Convention on the Rights of the Child and so on)
  5. try to identify which body should solve it
  6. Then find an NGO which could help to solve it
  7. Identify how the author is dealing with the topic, whether s/he is human rights sensitive or not
