Critical thinking

This topic shows you how to think critically, find hidden contexts and read between the lines

Observation is not enough

Critical thinking is conscious rational activity, led by certain techniques similar to those used by scientists in their research. They follow procedures thanks to which they can evaluate the credibility of information they got.

Their work is based on following characteristics without which critical thinking is not what it should be - clarity, accuracy, credibility, consistency, precision, significance, doubtlessness, completeness and impartiality.

Key skills of a critically thinking person are the abilities to observe, interpret, analyse, derive and deduce, evaluate and explain. And then, based on all these, create own conclusions and arguments.
